Before anyone asks what DocReveal can read, someone usually asks a simpler question: where will our documents live?
It is a fair question. Invoices, contracts and HR records come with rules — data protection laws such as the GDPR, promises in your own customer contracts, sometimes a requirement that data never leaves a particular country. A tool that cannot answer clearly does not get past the first meeting with IT or legal.
Our answer has never been simpler. DocReveal runs in the European Union and, as of now, in the United States as well. And if you need a different location, we can bring DocReveal to any AWS region within 24 hours.
SaaS: nothing to install
DocReveal is a software-as-a-service platform running on Amazon Web Services. Your team signs in through a web browser and starts working. There are no servers to buy, nothing to install and no upgrades to schedule.
We run the platform for you: new features arrive without any effort on your side, everything is monitored continuously, and capacity grows with your volume of documents. Each customer works in its own workspace, and its data is kept separate from everyone else’s.
Two home regions: Europe and the United States
Europe. DocReveal runs in the AWS Europe (Stockholm) region in Sweden. For European customers, this means that documents and the data DocReveal extracts from them are stored and processed inside the EU.
United States — new. DocReveal now also runs in the AWS US East (N. Virginia) region. Customers in the US get the same product, with their documents and data stored and processed in the United States.
In both regions, even the AI models that read your documents run within the same geography: EU data is processed in the EU, US data in the US.
Another region? Within 24 hours
Some companies need their data in a specific country — because of regulation, because a large customer requires it, or simply because most of their team works there. For them, we bring DocReveal to the AWS region of their choice within 24 hours of the request. The choice covers AWS regions on every inhabited continent:

Where your data lives and where your people work are two different things. A team spread across Prague, Chicago and Singapore should not wait for an application on the other side of the world.
That is why the DocReveal web application is delivered through Amazon CloudFront, the global content delivery network of AWS, with hundreds of edge locations around the world. The app loads from a location close to each user, so it starts quickly wherever they are. Your documents and data stay in your region; CloudFront only brings the application closer to your people.
How to choose a region: start with where your data must stay — by law or by contract. Then look at where most of your users work. If both point to the EU or the US, you can start right away. If not, tell us where, and DocReveal will be running there within 24 hours.
